BLUEPRINT General Assembly Meeting in Patras, Greece

The NeuroLandscape team was in Patras, Greece this week (3-4 February) to kick off the BLUEPRINT EU Project at its first General Assembly Meeting (GAM), which brings together 23 partners from 10 countries across Europe.

Agnieszka Olszewska-Guizzo, Haeeun Lee, and David O'Reilly were in attendance to present and discuss their tasks related to urban renovation for wellbeing and neuroaesthetics.

Day 1 of the GAM started with a warm welcome from the Project Coordinator, Dr. Stylianos Karatzas of the University of Patras. Then, the NeuroLandscape team participated in a collaborative workshop with project partners to identify stakeholders' impact and influences on the co-design frameworks of the pilot sites.

Balla (Ireland), Issy-les-Moulineaux (France), Athens (Greece), Budapest (Hungary), and Benetutti (Italy) are the five cities serving as pilot sites and will benefit from planned interventions tailored to their specific needs and objectives.

GAM Day 2 featured presentations of 19 digital tools advancing sustainable and equitable urban renovation in line with New European Bauhaus. This was NeuroLandscape's time to shine!

Dr. Agnieszka Olszewska-Guizzo introduced the Contemplative Landscape Model (CLM) with its background in neuroscience and practical application.

Dr. David O'Reilly explained how CLM can be transformed into CLASS (Contemplative Landscape Automated Scoring System) targeting and analyzing large visual datasets at the city scale.

Dr. Haeeun Lee, as the project lead, was pro-active in networking with our partners and empowering the team to make the best of this event.

The NL team also had some spare moments to appreciate the contemplative views around the University of Patras to cap off this two-day event.

Thanks again to all our partners for your participation. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration!
