NeuroLandscape in Italy: GreenME 3rd General Assembly Meeting in Bologna

Agnieszka Olszewska-Guizzo and Weronika Gąsior traveled to Bologna, Italy to attend the GreenME Project 3rd General Assembly Meeting from 16 to 18 September.

Each annual meeting provides the opportunity to reconnect in person with other members of the consortium for a fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences, like with our colleague Anna María Pálsdóttir from SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (pictured below).

A central message emerging from the meeting was that demonstrating the benefits of nature based approaches to mental wellbeing is only part of the challenge. Sustained funding and a larger community of trained professionals will be essential if these approaches are to become embedded in practice and reach more people.

They also had the opportunity to move beyond the meeting room to experience GreenME principles in practice, including mosaic production and walks through the Eta Beta spaces, creating opportunities to reflect on creativity, nature, social connection and wellbeing.
