Warsaw, Poland – 17-19 September 2025
Last month, NeuroLandscape's Agnieszka Olszewska-Guizzo and Lara Renhe attended the third GreenME Project General Assembly Meeting in Warsaw, Poland. The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) hosted this year's event under the leadership of Work Package 2 leader Renata Giedych. The meeting marked the halfway point of the Horizon Europe project, which is dedicated to advancing green care to improve adults’ mental health and wellbeing equity.
Over a three-day summit, our research partners gathered to evaluate their momentum, troubleshoot obstacles, and define future milestones.
Key Highlights:
-
Strategic Alignment: The team reviewed feedback from the recent European Commission evaluation to refine project priorities.
-
Scientific Synergy: Partners coordinated on joint publications, updated progress on audits and surveys, and integrated findings across Work Packages to boost overall efficacy.
-
Engagement & Education: Efforts focused on launching digital learning tools, drafting national frameworks, and sharpening outreach tactics for various public and political sectors.
-
Core Values: A specific focus on gender equity reinforced the project's dedication to social fairness in sustainability research.
-
Emerging Talent: PhD candidates showcased their latest findings, emphasizing a commitment to mentoring future industry leaders.
-
Expert Guidance: The Advisory Group shared critical perspectives to ensure the project’s outputs remain highly relevant and actionable.
The event concluded with the “Nature in the City” study tour. Exploring sites like the MOST Cooperative Urban Farm and the Warsaw Uprising Mound Park provided tangible proof of how urban greenery fosters resilient communities. More than just a status update, the Warsaw meeting was a collaborative celebration of shared goals and innovative teamwork.
