Ghieth holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the Estonian University of Life Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He has gained professional experience working with design firms and teaching at the School of Architecture at Hama University, Syria. Using his extensive experience in the development sector in Syria, he has participated in renewable energy projects and conducted quality-of-life assessment studies.
His fieldwork has provided him with practical skills in navigating socio-economic changes and spatial transformations. Ghieth's current research focuses on patterns of landscape change in post-conflict regions and the narrative of displacement-impacted landscapes. He is currently a guest lecturer at the Estonian University of Life Sciences and serves as a volunteer Sustainable Development and Equity Advocate and Graphic Communications Specialist at Neurolandscape.
